I saved this post, as I LOVED the poem on being afraid to write. Some hard hitters and some cheekiness all together resulted in a beautiful piece of art.
For me, the hardest part (every day!) is starting. Sometimes I can trick myself into it by saying "Okay, fifteen minutes, then you can stop if you want."

One of my favorites too, Brian - so glad you enjoyed it.
These poems are wonderfull. I really liked Why I'm Afraid To Write. Some very great finds in that one.
The whole sky is yours to write on is of extraordinary beauty.
Thanks so much, Arjan!
Both of these poems are luminescent with your choice of words. Love them both and you advice about writing everyday to see what comes up! Thanks!
Good stuff, "take all the space you need".
Thank you for reading, Weston!
Oh man, you got some good ones in Why I’m Afraid to Write. Sanskrit and Henry the Eighth were my favorites. Ha!
I really wasn't sure whether to leave Henry in there!! So glad he made you laugh.
Writing daily . . . that is the hard part for me. So many reasons not to . . . thank you for reminding me why I need to.

I remember asking you if you were writing poems during Covid….and it was writing itself with and without you.
Love both of these: Your whimsical spirit and upbeat gaze

Thanks, Shari - glad you like them!
